CHS Traffic Control Services, Inc. is looking to hire Flaggers & Certified Traffic Managers.
FLAGGERS
$13.00/hr with the possibility of earning more on scale wage jobs
No experience necessary will train. We are accepting applications in person during office hours (M-F, 8 am-5 pm) and are looking for several people.
ALL APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS, not negotiable:

Must have valid state-issued Driver's License

Must BRING A COPY OF YOUR DRIVING RECORD (not certified), dated within the last 2 weeks

Must have reliable transportation. Public transportation does not come to our shop.

Must be able to drive a full size, 4 doors, long bed pick-up truck confidently on the highway.

Comfortable standing 8- 12 hours per day, walking more than one mile a day, lifting up to 30lbs throughout the day, and working in all types of weather conditions.

Must be available to work days, nights and weekends; the schedule is varied, availability for all shifts is a MUST! Your scheduled shift can and will change weekly!

CERTIFIED TRAFFIC MANAGERS
$16.00/hr with the possibility of earning more on scale wage jobs
Requirements (In addition to above Flagger position. These must be met to consider your application for this specific position):

Experience in setting up various types of lane closures on roadways and interstates. Our company works all over central MD, Northern VA & DC.

MDOT Temporary Traffic Managers Certification

ATSSA Flagger Certification

***ABILITY TO WORK ANY REQUIRED SHIFT IS MANDATORY***

Preference will go to candidates who are willing and able to drive non-CDL (Class C license) trucks between 10,001-26,000 lbs. A current DOT physical/medical card is helpful.

Pre-employment drug screen with random testing. EOE.
